How do I pay my personal taxes with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)?CRA allows you to pay your taxes via online banking, credit card or interac (fees may apply), at your bank or by cheque. Online Banking: 1. Sign in to your financial institution's online individual banking service. 2. Under “Add a payee,” look for an option such as: - CRA (revenue)- current year-tax return - CRA (revenue)- tax amount owing - CRA (revenue)- tax instalment ( 3. Enter your 9 digit social insurance number as your CRA account number. Interac, Visa Debit and Debit MasterCard: Go to CRA's website and follow the six step process to make your payment. Credit Card Go to CRA's website and use one of the third-party service providers to make your payment. At Your Bank To make a payment at your Canadian financial institution, you need a personalized remittance voucher. Financial institutions will not accept photocopies of remittance vouchers or payment forms. Cheque Mail a cheque addressed to the "Receiver General" to your tax service centre.
